CoDA: Co-Evolution of Data Engines and Action Policies
CoDA, a preprint from the University of Illinois, CUHK-Shenzhen and Amazon, lets a simulator build new training scenes aimed at a robot policy's own failures and raised the pi0.5 model's success on unseen variations from 5.3% to 27.6% across four manipulation task families, 9.5 points above the best rival with the same budget. On LIBERO-Pro, 15 rounds lifted success from 25% to 84% with objects moved and from 1% to 76% with reworded instructions.
