Korean lamp maker IL books KRW 2.6bn in robot sales, 3% of revenue, ahead of ILbot humanoid

IL Co., a KOSDAQ-listed maker of LED lenses and automotive lamps, reported KRW 2.628 billion of robot revenue for the first nine months of 2026 in its quarterly report filed with Korea's DART on Oct 29, 3% of its KRW 83.49 billion consolidated sales. The filing says the company plans to launch a humanoid, adapted from the platform of a global humanoid maker it does not name, under the name ILbot for Korean factories, and that it is already testing humanoid robots on the production line of its affiliate IL Mobility on repetitive auto-parts work; it gives no unit numbers or customers. Several Korean outlets, including Money Today and Seoul Shinmun, described about KRW 2.7 billion of it as humanoid revenue; the filing lists it only as a nine-month "robot sales and other" line and does not break out humanoids. MEKAWIRE context: in our coverage IL is the third Korean listed company this week to put a number or a shipment on humanoid business in its Q3 disclosures, after Samsung Electro-Mechanics (camera modules for a North American customer, Oct 28 call) and Samsung SDI (solid-state battery samples, Oct 29), and the only one selling whole robots rather than components.
