Korean rehabilitation device maker Dynamic Solution said on Oct 15 that it demonstrated Dynamic X-hand, a wearable robot hand for stroke and spinal-cord-injury patients that reads EEG signals with AI and turns the intent to move into hand motion, at the 14th World Congress for NeuroRehabilitation in Daegu, Bloter reported.

The company says the system recognises hand-movement intent with up to 84.6% accuracy and roughly 3.9 times the manipulation ability of earlier wearable robot hands for quadriplegic patients; it builds on X-HAND technology licensed from ETRI in March, with Charité in Berlin running clinical work and Seoul National University Bundang Hospital handling EEG integration and trials.

The figures are company claims reported by Bloter, not yet in a peer-reviewed paper. It is the second Korean rehab-wearable story on MEKAWIRE this week, after Hurotics' reported Series A for its gait exosuit.

Good or bad news for the company?
