How much does a humanoid robot cost in 2026? From $2,490 to $80,000, and why the industrial ones have no price tag

A humanoid robot you can order today costs between $2,490 (Faraday Future's FF Nova developer robot) and about $30,000 (Unitree's full-size H2), with Unitree's R1 at $5,900, its G1 at $13,500 and 1X's NEO home robot at $20,000 or $499 a month. The humanoids aimed at factory and warehouse labour, Figure's robots and Agility's Digit among them, have no public list price and are sold through contracts. MEKAWIRE compares every verified price in its database and explains what the list price says about who each company is selling to.

Faraday Future prices its FF Nova developer humanoid at $2,490 as it folds the robot business into FFR

Faraday Future and its affiliate FF EAI Robotics Ecosystem (FFR) said in a Business Wire release on Oct 15 that they have launched FF Nova, a 20-degree-of-freedom bipedal humanoid for developers and schools priced at $2,490, plus a $390 developer skills package, alongside a smaller education robot, FF Nova Mini. Nova carries lidar, wide-angle and depth cameras and a circular microphone array, can walk or ride a detachable wheeled base, and ships with an open SDK, a ROS 2 workflow and over-the-air updates; sales start by invitation through developer.ff.com in the first of three phases, and the release gives no height, battery life, manufacturer or delivery date. The same release restates the deal signed on Oct 12 under which FFR will buy Faraday Future's robotics business in an all-stock transaction valuing it at about $200 million and FFR at about $60 million fully diluted, issuing shares at $2.246, roughly 50% above FFR's $1.50 close that day, backed by a PIPE of up to $10 million; Faraday Future would own about 65.7% of FFR after closing. At $2,490 the Nova costs 42% of the $5,900 overseas price Unitree set for its R1 humanoid in July 2025, the low-price benchmark in MEKAWIRE's humanoid data, though the R1 is a full product with published specifications and the Nova is still an invitation-only developer kit.
