Immersivecast was founded in 2017 and is based in Pangyo Second Techno Valley, Seongnam. It began in cloud XR streaming, working with Deutsche Telekom and SKT on commercialisation in 2021, then spent four years on government digital-twin projects before commercialising a 3D digital-twin product in 2025. Its imSim robot simulation platform reached MVP in January 2026; it published the PAVS open scoring specification in September 2026 and opened the public imSim.app portal in October 2026. The company describes itself as a robot simulation and physics-scoring specialist for physical AI and says it holds about 20 patents.
