About
OMRON Corporation is a Japanese industrial-automation company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime market under code 6645. Its control-equipment business supplies factory-automation controllers, sensing devices and robotics equipment, and the company says it wants that business to evolve from a factory-automation equipment maker into what it calls a GEMBA DX and physical-AI company. In October 2026 it agreed to buy Interlogic, Inc., parent of US industrial-PC maker OnLogic, for USD 675 million on an enterprise-value basis.
