- General Intuition raises $220 million at a $6.2 billion valuation, betting gameplay clips can teach robots to act
General Intuition, which trains AI models on action-labelled gameplay clips from the Medal platform, said on 29 September 2026 that it had raised $220 million at a $6.2 billion valuation from investors including Khosla Ventures and General Catalyst. The figure is 2.7 times the $2.3 billion it disclosed with its Series A 96 days earlier, and the company has opened a waitlist for partners in robotics, simulation and games.
Mentioned - AMD pays about $8.2B in stock for World Labs, 2026's priciest robotics and physical-AI deal, for a lab with no disclosed revenue
AMD will buy Fei-Fei Li's World Labs for about $8.2 billion in shares, the largest robotics or physical-AI acquisition value in MEKAWIRE's 2026 records and about 1.5 times the enterprise value SoftBank agreed for ABB's whole robot division. AMD frames it as model expertise for its chip roadmap, not a robot product.
Target - Rhoda AI leaves stealth with a $450 million Series A to run factory robots on a model that learns from internet video
Palo Alto start-up Rhoda AI emerged on 10 March 2026 with a $450 million Series A from Khosla Ventures, Mayfield, Temasek and six other institutions, plus John Doerr. Its Direct Video Action model predicts video of a task and converts it into robot actions, and the company says new tasks can need as little as ten hours of teleoperation data. No lead investor, valuation or customer was disclosed.
