VLA-Fabric: Learning Interaction for Composable Multi-Arm VLA Agents

Chenglong Zhang, Shuaijun Liu, Feiyang You, Shuyang Hao, Chengyu Wu, Ningxin SuThe Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou)

Giving each robot arm its own vision-language-action model and letting the models exchange information while they act raised success on four real three- and four-arm tasks by 16 to 40 percentage points over arms trained alone, from an average of 41% to 69%, according to a preprint from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou). In simulation a four-arm frame-lifting task went from 9.5% to 89.5%.
