KANGAROO is a 1.60 m bipedal humanoid from PAL Robotics built for research on dynamic locomotion, reinforcement learning and embodied AI. It uses custom linear leg actuators with integrated force sensors and is configurable with 4, 5 or 7 DoF arms and different end effectors.
TALOS is a 1.75 m torque-controlled biped humanoid from PAL Robotics, sold as a research platform and fully developed in ROS. The first unit went to the LAAS-CNRS Gepetto team in Toulouse, and the University of Waterloo RoboHub later acquired one.
ARI is a wheeled social humanoid from PAL Robotics for reception, guidance, healthcare and human-robot interaction research. It combines expressive eyes and gestures, a touchscreen and speech recognition with person detection and autonomous navigation.
