Beijing maker of working-at-height robots that derust ship hulls and blast, clean and paint tanks and other industrial structures for shipyards, petrochemical and energy operators.
RobotPlusPlus, also styled ROBOT++, is a Beijing company led by founder and chief executive Hua-Yang Xu that builds magnetic crawler and other working-at-height robots, including its HighMate series, for hull derusting, hydroblasting, surface preparation and cleaning in shipbuilding, petrochemicals and power generation. In a September 2026 release it said its robots were deployed at more than 100 shipyards with a market share above 70%, had worked on more than 10,000 cargo vessels and were used in more than 18 countries, naming customers including NOSCO Shipyard, Drydocks World, ST Engineering Marine, Saudi Aramco and Vopak. On May 24, 2022 it announced a US$15 million Series B led by Meituan and Fosun and put its total funding at approximately US$35 million. On September 15, 2026 it announced a Series C that it described as hundreds of millions of RMB, or tens of millions of US dollars, without an exact figure, led by Qianggang Capital Fund with GIG Capital Group, Sealand Innovation and Juntong Capital, while existing investor Fosun RZ Capital increased its stake.
