London-based XRlabs raised $8.4 million in seed funding led by Playground Global, with Eka Ventures participating, the company said in a Business Wire release on Oct 19. The startup sells software that turns live surgical video, navigation data and CT or MRI scans into a single real-time view and uses NVIDIA Jetson Thor and Isaac for Healthcare to add tool tracking and intent-aware automation to surgical scopes; its intraoperative product, SurgicalOS, is still in development and not commercially available. The round is 3.65 times its $2.3 million pre-seed of February 2025.
