Hurotics raises KRW 25 billion Series A led by Atinum to take its soft walking exosuit abroad

Korean wearable-robot startup Hurotics has raised a KRW 25 billion Series A with Atinum Investment as the main investor, lifting its cumulative funding above KRW 33.5 billion, StartupN reported on Oct 15; the company had not posted its own release at the time of writing, so the figures are unconfirmed.
The money is earmarked for overseas approvals and distribution of its H-Medi gait rehabilitation exosuit and for developing and producing H-Care, a daily walking-assist suit.
Korean wearable-robot startup Hurotics has closed a KRW 25 billion Series A, StartupN reported on Oct 15. Atinum Investment took the main position, existing backers Stonebridge Ventures, Industrial Bank of Korea, Ajou IB Investment and Wonik Investment Partners followed on, and Mirae Asset Venture Investment joined alongside strategic investors from the Daewoong, Naver and Lotte groups, according to the report. Cumulative funding now exceeds KRW 33.5 billion. Hurotics' newsroom carried no release on the round when MEKAWIRE checked on Oct 15, so the amount and investor list are reported, not confirmed by the company.
What the money is for
The report says the proceeds go to overseas regulatory approvals and distribution for H-Medi, the company's soft, tendon-driven gait rehabilitation suit, and to developing and mass-producing H-Care, a walking-assist suit for everyday use. Hurotics' own history page shows H-Medi launched in September 2025 with Korean Class II medical device certification, after a U.S. FDA Class II listing in May 2025 and CES Innovation Awards in 2024 and 2025. The company says it was incorporated in February 2022 and opened a U.S. subsidiary in December 2023.

Where it sits among Korean wearable robots
MEKAWIRE tracks two other Korean wearable-robot makers: Angel Robotics, which listed on KOSDAQ in March 2024, and WIRobotics, which raised a Series B in May 2026 without disclosing the amount. Hurotics competes on a different design point. Its suits are soft and cable-driven rather than rigid-frame exoskeletons, which keeps them light enough to wear like clothing but limits how much torque they can deliver.
What to watch
The company's next filings should show whether the round closed at the reported size, and its newsroom is the place to watch for overseas approvals of H-Medi in Japan and Southeast Asia, which the report names as target markets, and for an H-Care launch date.
