Orbbec said on Oct 29 it signed a procurement agreement with ACE Robotics, the embodied-AI company chaired by SenseTime co-founder Wang Xiaogang, and its partners for 10,000 units of robot vision products and robot-free data collection hardware. No value was disclosed. Orbbec's Q3 filing says nine-month robot vision revenue more than doubled while net profit fell 31.6%.
