Fetch Robotics

Silicon Valley maker of autonomous mobile robots for warehouses and factories, bought by Zebra Technologies in 2021 and by Skild AI in 2026.

About

Fetch Robotics was an intralogistics automation company headquartered in Silicon Valley, led in 2021 by chief executive Melonee Wise. It built autonomous mobile robots for picking in fulfillment and distribution centers, just in time material delivery in manufacturing plants and other material movement inside facilities, together with its Workflow Builder software and the cloud based FetchCore enterprise platform. Fetch was a Zebra Ventures portfolio company, and on July 1, 2021 Zebra Technologies agreed to pay $290 million for the 95 percent of the business it did not already own, citing Fetch's annualized run rate sales of about $10 million. Zebra completed the acquisition on August 10, 2021. On April 15, 2026 Skild AI said it had acquired Zebra's robotics division, formerly Fetch Robotics, without giving terms, and that it would connect its robot brain to the Symmetry Fulfillment orchestration platform. Fetch's earlier venture rounds, including a Series C reported in 2019, could not be confirmed on a primary page and are not listed.
