Plus One Robotics
Plus One Robotics makes vision-guided parcel picking robots for warehouses, backed by remote human supervisors who step in when the robot is unsure.
Plus One Robotics is a San Antonio, Texas company founded in 2016 that builds parcel handling robots for logistics and e-commerce operators. Its systems pair 3D computer vision and AI with a supervised autonomy model, in which remote staff help robots resolve picks they cannot handle alone. The company has offices in Boulder, Pittsburgh and the Netherlands in addition to its Texas headquarters. It emerged from stealth in May 2018 with an initial round led by Schematic Ventures and closed an 8.3 million dollar Series A led by Pritzker Group Venture Capital that November. A 33 million dollar Series B co-led by McRock Capital and Translink Capital followed in April 2021, and in March 2023 it announced a 50 million dollar Series C led by Scale Venture Partners.
