About

Kraken Robotics builds underwater sensing, power and robotic systems, including synthetic aperture sonar, sub bottom imaging, LiDAR and pressure tolerant batteries for uncrewed underwater vehicles. In March 2026 it completed a $402.5 million offering of subscription receipts co led by Scotiabank and Desjardins to help fund the purchase of Covelya Group. That acquisition, valued at about $615 million and covering Sonardyne, EIVA, Forcys, Voyis and Chelsea Technologies, closed in July 2026.
