SOS LAB designs LiDAR sensors and the software around them. Its line covers fully fixed solid-state 3D LiDAR for autonomous driving, compact 2D LiDAR for robots and industrial safety, and LiDAR data solutions for smart-city monitoring. The company was founded on June 22, 2016, listed on KOSDAQ under the technology special listing track in June 2024, and says R&D staff make up 75% of a workforce of more than 140. Chief executive is Jung Ji-sung. In August 2026 it signed an MOU with Curexo to develop spatial-intelligence sensing for surgical and medical robots.
