About

Noah Medical is based in San Carlos, California, and was founded by chief executive Jian Zhang. Its Galaxy System is a navigated robotic bronchoscopy platform for reaching lesions in the lung, combining integrated tomosynthesis and augmented fluoroscopy with a single use disposable bronchoscope and the company's TiLT+ technology. On April 19, 2023 the company announced a $150 million Series B led by SoftBank Vision Fund with Prosperity7 Ventures as co-lead. Tiger Global, Hillhouse, Sequoia China, Shangbay Capital, Uphonest Capital, Sunmed Capital, Lyfe Capital, 1955 Capital, AME Cloud Ventures and undisclosed strategic investors also took part. The release said Galaxy had recently received FDA clearance for commercial use in the United States and that first in human use had begun at Macquarie University Hospital in Sydney. Noah said it would use the money to meet demand for Galaxy and to speed research on platforms for diagnosis and treatment.
