Beijing's NeodraDynamics pitches Neo1, a 4-meter hydraulic-electric humanoid with a 500 kg two-arm payload

NeodraDynamics Robotics said in a press release distributed through PR Newswire on Sept 14 that Neo1, a 4-meter humanoid that combines digital hydraulics with electric actuation, carries 500 kg with both arms and reaches fingertip repeatability of plus or minus 0.05 mm.

The Beijing company says Neo1 is built around a 1.1 kg micro digital hydraulic cylinder that drives a 1,000 kg load and is meant for heavy assembly, heavy logistics, mining, construction and deep-sea work.

ZDNet Korea reported on Oct 15, citing Interesting Engineering, that the robot was shown at the 2026 China International Industry Fair; the specifications are company claims with no independent test. None of the 21 Chinese humanoids in MEKAWIRE's spec database lists a hydraulic actuator.
