Fincantieri builds high-complexity ships, including cruise ships and naval vessels, at 13 shipyards in Italy and abroad, including sites in Romania and the United States. Its BOOST² 'Shipyard of the Future' programme, launched about three years before October 2026, brings collaborative robotics, physical AI, digital twins, smart supply-chain systems and additive manufacturing into production, with almost EUR 100 million earmarked in the group's industrial plan.
