About

Fizyr was founded in 2014 as Delft Robotics, a spin-off of Delft University of Technology, and is based in Delft in the Netherlands. The team was a double winner of Amazon's picking and stowing challenge in 2016 and rebranded as Fizyr in 2017 when it moved its whole focus to vision AI. Its main product, Fizyr OS, is camera- and robot-agnostic software that detects items and computes grasp poses for picking cells, sold through system integrators such as AWL, DERO GROEP and Inther Group. The company says it raised its first funding round in 2020 and appointed a new management team in 2022; Ken Fleming is chief executive. No amount, date or investor for any round is given on a primary page, so no rounds are recorded.
