Micropsi Industries was founded in 2014 and is based in Berlin, according to the company. Its MIRAI system lets workers teach an industrial robot arm a hand-eye-coordinated task by guiding it, after which the robot uses cameras and sensors to repeat the motion and adapt to variation in real time. The company has named Siemens Energy, ZF Group and BSH among users for assembly, material handling and quality inspection. Micropsi announced a Series A of 5.28 million euros led by Project A in October 2018 and a $30 million Series B led by Metaplanet, VSquared and Ahren Innovation Capital in February 2022.
