Fourier
Shanghai robotics company that grew out of rehabilitation robots into the GRx line of humanoids
Fourier was founded in Shanghai in 2015 and started out in rehabilitation, releasing its first upper-limb rehabilitation robot in 2016 and the X1 lower-limb exoskeleton in 2017. It opened a Singapore unit in 2018 and launched a humanoid programme in 2019, which led to the GR-1 in 2023, the GR-2 in 2024 and the GR-3 series in 2025, all announced as entering volume production. In 2025 it also released the open-source Fourier N1 humanoid and the Fourier ActionNet humanoid dataset. Its rehabilitation business sells an intelligent rehabilitation hub and the Galileo system, and the company says it serves more than 2,000 institutions and hospitals in over 40 countries and regions.
