Wuxi embodied AI start-up that builds MagicBot humanoids, MagicDog quadrupeds and its own dexterous hands and joint modules.
MagicLab was founded in January 2024 and operates as Magiclab Robotics Technology (Wuxi) Co., Ltd. It develops MagicBot humanoid robots and MagicDog quadrupeds and builds core components in house, including the MagicHand S01 dexterous hand and joint modules. In July 2025 it launched the MagicBot Z1, a highly dynamic bipedal humanoid. In December 2024 the company said it had about 100 staff, more than 80% of them in research and development. On 25 December 2024 it announced a RMB 150 million angel round led by Zhuichuang Venture Capital with Yipu Fund participating, and said it planned to deliver several hundred mass-production MagicBot units in 2025, with shipments expected to reach the thousands in 2026.
