Minerva Humanoids
Builds Roger, a semi-autonomous teleoperated humanoid for hazardous energy work and bomb disposal.
Minerva Humanoids develops Roger, a purpose-built humanoid that a trained operator drives from a safe distance through a VR headset while the company's own control software handles balance, fall recovery and navigation. It targets offshore and onshore energy sites, high-voltage plants, explosive ordnance disposal and hazardous material response. Founded at the end of 2025 by CEO Sandor Felber and CTO Maurice Rahme, it is headquartered in San Francisco with offices in Cambridge, Massachusetts and Sindelfingen, Germany, and builds its first prototypes in Germany. It came out of stealth on 6 October 2026 with a pre-seed round of about $10 million led by General Catalyst.
