Sunnyvale developer of general purpose humanoid robots for heavy industry, known as Under Control Robotics until 2026.
Noble Machines was founded in 2024 as Under Control Robotics and adopted its current name when it came out of stealth on March 3, 2026. It is based in Sunnyvale, California, and is led by co-founder and chief executive Wei Ding, with a founding team drawn from Apple, SpaceX, NASA and Caltech. The company builds general purpose humanoid robots for manufacturing, construction, logistics, energy, mining and semiconductor sites, combining AI driven whole body control with swappable end effectors, a 50 pound payload and roughly five hours of battery life. At launch it said its robots had reached a Fortune Global 500 industrial customer within 18 months and named ADLINK, Schaeffler and Solomon as partners. It has not published any funding round on its own pages, and South Park Commons lists it among its portfolio companies. On March 16, 2026 it described work with Schaeffler on making robot simulation more realistic using Newton.
