Agile Robotsの人型ロボ、アウディのインゴルシュタット工場で部品の順立て実証
独Agile Robotsは21日、アウディ、ダッソーシステムズ、エヌビディアと共同で発表したプレスリリースで、同社の移動型ヒューマノイドがアウディのインゴルシュタット工場のプロダクションラボで、部品を容器から取り出し組立順に並べる概念実証を始めたと明らかにした。
アウディによると順立て作業は1日約100万回のピッキングにのぼる。量産適用の時期、台数、契約額は開示していない。

ロボットより先に仮想検証
投入前に、ダッソーの3DEXPERIENCE上のDELMIAで物流現場のバーチャルツインを作り、エヌビディアのOmniverseライブラリで実現性、タクト、人間工学、安全性を確かめる。ダッソーはAIアシスタントLEOがこの工程を数カ月から数日に短縮するとしている。実ラインへの展開時期、台数、金額は示していない。
会社の素顔
Agile Robotsは2018年にドイツ航空宇宙センターの研究者がミュンヘンで設立し、2万件超のロボットソリューションを納入、従業員は約3,500人という。Franka Roboticsやidealworksを傘下に持つ。MEKAWIREのデータベースでは直近の公表調達は2021年9月の2億2,000万ドルのシリーズCで、9月29日には日立とフィジカルAIで提携した。同日、エヌビディアは同社のAgile ONE SNをIsaacの参照ヒューマノイドに指定した。

今回の実証の本質は人型ロボットの受注ではなく、ドイツの自動車メーカーが作業場を作る前にシミュレーションで人型ロボットの配置を承認できるかの試験にある。
トヨタなど国内自動車メーカーの部品順立ても人手依存が大きく、同じ問いに直面する。一方で、自動車メーカーのラボ実証は珍しくなく台数が出ることは少ないとの見方もある。ラボから実際の順立てラインへ移るか、アウディが台数を示すか、2027年初めにAgile ONE SNの出荷が始まるかが注目点だ。

なぜ重要か
Parts sequencing is one of the few intralogistics tasks where carmakers still rely heavily on manual picking, because parts vary and arrive unsorted. If a humanoid upper body on a mobile base can work in existing racks, carmakers avoid rebuilding stations for fixed automation. Audi's own figure of about one million picks a day shows the size of the work pool, although the release gives no share that robots would take.
競合分析
Several humanoid makers have announced pilots with carmakers without disclosing fleet numbers, so a lab proof of concept is not yet an order. Agile Robots differs in owning a wider industrial portfolio (Franka arms, idealworks AMRs) and in being NVIDIA's named reference humanoid, which may help it sell into German plants already using Omniverse.
