Inovance launches InoBot W1, a liquid-cooled wheeled humanoid rated at 2,070 TOPS
Chinese industrial-automation group Inovance has launched InoBot W1, a wheeled humanoid that runs a liquid-cooling loop through its Thor edge processor so it can hold full performance for long periods above 40 degrees Celsius, Korea's Robot Newspaper (irobotnews) reported on Oct 21 with an image credited to Inovance; MEKAWIRE could not open an Inovance release, so the specifications are unconfirmed.
According to the report, the robot delivers 2,070 TOPS of compute, carries an IP54 rating against dust, splashes and oil spray, keeps noise under 60 dB, and has modular chest, arm, end-effector, folding and chassis units, with grippers, robot hands, pneumatic grippers and suction cups interchangeable.
Its 0.6 m chassis uses omnidirectional steering wheels, and a 3.6 kWh pack gives up to 10 hours, with hot-swappable dual batteries for round-the-clock work; no price or customers were reported. MEKAWIRE context: wheeled two-armed platforms are where factory humanoid pilots are concentrating, from the upper-body dual-arm robot HD Hyundai Robotics showed at ROBEX on Oct 21 to Schaeffler's six humanoids at its Taicang plant on Oct 20, as MEKAWIRE reported.
