SKAI Worldwide and robot synthetic-data affiliate Sky Intelligence join Korea's physical AI alliance

Korean database company SKAI Worldwide and its affiliate Sky Intelligence said at Physical AI Tech Week in Seoul on Oct 13 and 14 that they have joined the national Physical AI Alliance, ZDNet Korea reported on Oct 15.

SKAI Worldwide, which supplies the AgensSQL and AgensGraph databases and says it has run 337 projects for more than 130 customers, joins the data action group of the K-Physical AI full-stack division, while Sky Intelligence, which generates synthetic training data for robots, joins the global cooperation group of the governance division.

Sky Intelligence set up an industrial physical-AI validation partnership with ABB Robotics in June and contributed to an ABB Robotics and NVIDIA white paper on industrial physical AI in July, according to the report.

The alliance sits inside a policy push MEKAWIRE has tracked, including Korea's plan to put 200,000 AI robots into service by 2030.
