About
cellumation builds the celluveyor, a modular conveying and sorting surface made of hexagonal cells with omnidirectional wheels, each driven by software so that items can be moved and routed in any direction. Founded in 2017 in Bremen, it had more than 70 employees and served postal, e-commerce and logistics operators when Symbotic announced its all-cash acquisition on 13 October 2026. Co-founders Hendrik Thamer (CEO) and Claudio Uriarte (CTO) continue to run the business under its own name.
