Magazino
Munich developer of perception-guided mobile robots for warehouses and production logistics, wholly owned by Jungheinrich since 2023.
Magazino was founded in 2014 in Munich by Frederik Brantner and Lukas Zanger and develops mobile robots and the ACROS.AI robotics software for intralogistics. Its products include TORU, which picks cartons and standardized containers from shelving around the clock, and SOTO, which carries up to 24 small load carriers in production logistics; its software also runs in Jungheinrich's automated EAEa vehicle. Jungheinrich announced a stake in Magazino on 24 September 2020 without disclosing size or price. On 23 August 2023 Jungheinrich said it had raised its holding from 21.7 percent to full ownership, buying the shares of the founders and of co-shareholders including Cellcom, Fiege Logistik and Körber, with the price undisclosed. The company now trades as Magazino, a Jungheinrich company.
