Sereact
Sereact develops Cortex, an AI model that lets industrial robots handle picking and other tasks without task-specific programming.
Sereact is a Stuttgart robotics software company founded in 2021 by Ralf Gulde, who serves as CEO, and Marc Tuscher, who serves as CTO. Its Cortex model acts as a robotic brain behind applications such as pick and place, put walls, returns handling and humanoid robots. Customers named by the company include BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Daimler Truck, PepsiCo, Austrian Post and Rohlik Group. It raised a 5 million dollar seed round co-led by Point Nine and Air Street Capital in August 2023, then a Series A of 25 million euros led by Creandum in January 2025. In April 2026 it announced a 110 million dollar Series B led by Headline, which it said brought total funding past 140 million dollars and will pay for Cortex 2.0 and a first US office in Boston.
