NVIDIA said in a blog post on Oct 21, timed to its GTC Berlin keynote, that it is adding post-training and optimisation tools for its Cosmos world foundation models so developers can improve them with less compute, together with simulation checkpoints for testing behaviour in interactive driving and robotic manipulation scenarios before real-world trials.

It also introduced Cosmos Data Factory, a set of blueprints and agent skills for curating, labelling, generating and evaluating training data, covering driving scenarios, product defects, image augmentation and event generation.

NVIDIA named Porsche with Voxel51, ANYbotics with Encord, Zalando and CEVA Logistics with Sereact, and Siemens as users building training datasets with it; it gave no pricing or performance figures for the robotics tools.

MEKAWIRE context: Sereact's dual-arm robots went live on Zalando returns at CEVA warehouses in Germany on Oct 7, and the Stuttgart company raised $110 million led by Headline in April, as MEKAWIRE reported.

Good or bad news for the company?
