Titan Medical

Toronto developer of single port surgical robots that became Conavi Medical through a 2024 reverse takeover.

About

Titan Medical was a Toronto based medical device company that worked on single port robotic surgery, building the Enos system with a surgeon workstation, a patient cart, 3D and 2D high definition cameras and multi articulating instruments, first aimed at gynecologic procedures. Its shares traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange under TMD. In June 2020 it closed a registered direct offering of 18,000,000 common shares at US$1.00 with accompanying warrants, bringing in about US$18.0 million gross through H.C. Wainwright as placement agent. In February 2021 it closed a bought deal of units at US$2.40, including the full over allotment, for gross proceeds of US$23,004,600, underwritten by Bloom Burton Securities. In October 2024 Conavi Medical, a coronary imaging company, completed a reverse takeover of Titan. The listed company was renamed Conavi Medical Corp., consolidated its shares 25 to 1 and moved from the TSX to the TSX Venture Exchange under CNVI, while Conavi raised US$7.7 million in subscription receipts alongside the deal.
