X Square Robot
Shenzhen embodied AI company that develops its own robot foundation models and wheeled manipulation robots for homes, logistics and industry.
X Square Robot was founded in December 2023 and is based in Shenzhen; founder Wang Qian is chief executive. It develops in-house embodied AI foundation models, including WALL-A, the open-source WALL-OSS released in September 2025 and WALL-B introduced in April 2026, and builds the Quanta X1 wheeled bimanual robot and the Quanta X2 wheeled humanoid. It has partnered with 58.com on a home cleaning service in Shenzhen and Beijing in which robots work alongside human cleaners. On 12 January 2026 it announced a Series A++ round of RMB 1 billion, which it put at about US$140 million, with investors including ByteDance and HongShan. On 29 June 2026 it said it had closed four consecutive financing rounds ending in a Series C in which IDG participated, and that its valuation exceeded US$2.8 billion (RMB 20 billion); it did not disclose the round amounts. The company said Meituan, Alibaba, ByteDance and Xiaomi had each led rounds at different stages.
