About
mimic is a Zurich-based ETH Zurich spin-off founded in 2024 that develops foundation AI models trained on human demonstrations and humanoid robotic hands for dexterous manual tasks in manufacturing, assembly and logistics. Its products include the mimic hand M1, the mimic wearable U1 and the FLUX-mimic video-action model developed with Black Forest Labs. In May 2024 it announced a $2.5 million pre-seed round led by Founderful. A later seed round led by Elaia, announced in November 2025, is not recorded here because the original release could not be opened on a primary page.
