ICON raises $200 million Series D from Baillie Gifford and BlackRock to mass-produce its Titan construction printer
Austin-based ICON said in a press release dated Oct 13 that it has raised a $200 million Series D co-led by Baillie Gifford and funds managed by BlackRock, with Capital Factory, CAZ Investments, Moderne Ventures, Moonshots Capital, Norwest, Overmatch, The Syndicate and Tiger Global among the other investors.
The company will use the money to start manufacturing its multi-story Titan robotic print system at its Austin factory, open a large research and development site in Austin and expand in Texas, Florida, Washington DC and new US markets.
ICON said it is on pace to quadruple revenue in 2026 and has completed more than 270 3D-printed homes and structures in five states and two countries, including Army barracks at Fort Bliss where it broke ground on 10 buildings in January; it claims Titan cuts six weeks from an average home build at 40% below the national average cost, figures it has not broken down.
ICON did not disclose a valuation or revenue. In MEKAWIRE's funding data this is the second-largest construction-robotics round of the past 12 months, behind Bedrock Robotics' $270 million Series B in February.
