Bedrock Robotics
Retrofit autonomy kits that turn existing excavators and other heavy equipment into autonomous construction machines.
About
San Francisco company founded in 2024 by former Waymo autonomous-trucking leaders. Its Bedrock Operator adds reversible hardware and software to equipment contractors already own, starting with excavators, plus fleet software for multi-machine work. Began supervised autonomous earthmoving on live sites in November 2025 and targets fully operator-less excavator deployments in 2026. The company said the Series B valued it at $1.75 billion; the release does not say whether that figure is pre- or post-money.
