Teleo
Palo Alto developer of retrofit autonomy that lets one remote operator supervise several heavy machines, acquired by Havoc in 2026.
Teleo is based in Palo Alto, California, and was co-founded by chief executive Vinay Shet and chief technology officer Rom Clement. Its supervised autonomy system pairs a universal retrofit kit with a mesh radio network and a remote command centre, so that one operator can run dozers, wheel loaders, excavators and trucks from makers such as Caterpillar, John Deere and Komatsu. In June 2022 it announced a $12 million Series A led by UP.Partners, with F-Prime Capital, K9 Ventures and seed lead Trucks Venture Capital investing again. In March 2026 the autonomy company Havoc announced that it had acquired Teleo together with Mavrik, without giving financial terms.
