Reframe Systems
Boston company founded by former Amazon Robotics leaders that builds homes in robotic microfactories.
Reframe Systems was founded in 2022 in the Boston area by chief executive Vikas Enti, Felipe Polido and Aaron Small, who previously scaled automation systems at Amazon Robotics. It uses its own software and robotics in microfactories to build all electric, solar ready homes, from single family houses and townhomes to multifamily units. In August 2025 it announced a $20 million Series A co-led by Eclipse and VoLo Earth Ventures, with MassMutual Catalyst Funds, Cubit Capital, Planetary Health at RA Capital Management, Saga Ventures and Nor'easter Ventures taking part. On August 31, 2026 it announced $40 million in equity financing led by Energy Impact Partners. The company said it had completed 10 homes, expected 114 more units within a year, and that its FAB1 microfactory in Billerica, Massachusetts is designed to produce up to 500 multifamily units or 250 single family homes a year.
