Zhejiang Zhaofeng Mechanical and Electrical (SZSE 300695) said in a filing dated Oct 28 that its controlling subsidiary Zhejiang Zhaoju Intelligent received a bid-award notice for a "robot innovation service platform" project at RMB 299.92 million.

The buyer is Zhejiang Jinyihu Venture Capital, through a non-government open tender run on Jinhua's procurement platform. No contract has been signed yet, and Zhaofeng said the final amount and scope depend on it.

By MEKAWIRE's calculation the award equals about 60% of Zhaofeng's RMB 498.9 million revenue for the first nine months of 2026.

Zhejiang Zhaofeng Mechanical and Electrical (SZSE ChiNext 300695) said in a filing to the Shenzhen exchange dated Oct 28 that its controlling subsidiary, Zhejiang Zhaoju Intelligent, has received the bid-award notice for the "robot innovation service platform" project (JHCG2026HW10574) at a price of RMB 299,920,000. The purchaser is Zhejiang Jinyihu Venture Capital; the tender agent is Zhejiang Jinhua Sunshine Tendering Agency. Zhaofeng had flagged Zhaoju as the preferred bidder on Oct 20, when the project was a non-government open tender opened that morning.

The company said the project, if carried out, would round out its position in embodied AI, and warned that no formal contract has been signed, so the final amount and scope are not fixed. The filing does not say what the platform will contain.

MEKAWIRE context: the award is large against the parent's own business. Zhaofeng's third-quarter report, filed the same day, shows nine-month revenue of RMB 498.9 million, down 2.28%, so the tender equals about 60% of that figure (299.92 / 498.9). It is the latest in a run of local-government-linked embodied-AI platform tenders in China; see our China humanoid standards story for the policy push behind them.

Good or bad news for the company?
