Booster Robotics
Beijing maker of developer-oriented humanoid robots, including the Booster T1, T2 and K1, whose robots compete in RoboCup soccer.
Booster Robotics (Beijing Booster Robotics Technology, known in Chinese as Jiasu Jinhua) was set up in June 2023 in Beijing. The company traces its founding team to a robot control laboratory at Tsinghua University and to the university's robot soccer team. It sells humanoid robots aimed at developers and researchers: the Booster T1, the flagship T2 development platform, which went on sale in July 2026, and the entry-level K1, along with Booster Studio, a development environment for embodied AI. Its robots defended a RoboCup title in July 2026, and in August 2026 the company said its robot had made the cover of Science Robotics. Its company timeline lists a Pre-A series round of RMB 100 million in September 2024, a Series A led by Shenzhen Capital Group in June 2025 and a Series A+ backed by Beijing's robot and AI industry funds in July 2025, but gives only the month for each, so those rounds are not stored separately here. On 21 April 2026 the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission reported that the company had closed nearly RMB 1 billion in new financing, co-led by the Beijing High-Tech Industry Fund, Jingguosheng Fund and Huakong Fund. Legend Star, Guohai Innovation Capital and BOCOM Capital joined, and existing shareholders including Shenzhen Capital Group, Beijing's AI industry fund, Source Code Capital, Innoangel Fund, IDG Capital, Bian Era and CMBC International added to their stakes. According to the same report, more than 1,000 Booster K1 units had shipped to over 400 customers in more than 20 countries, and the money is meant for a global delivery network, embodied model algorithms and new robot versions.
