iRobot Corporation introduced the first Roomba robot vacuum in 2002 and was listed on Nasdaq under the ticker IRBT. A planned acquisition by Amazon was terminated on January 28, 2024, with Amazon paying a $94.0 million termination amount. On December 14, 2025 the company filed for Chapter 11 in Delaware under a restructuring support agreement that hands 100% of the reorganized equity to its secured lender and primary contract manufacturer, Shenzhen PICEA Robotics.
