Miso Robotics
Pasadena maker of AI kitchen robots, led by the Flippy fry station, for quick service restaurants.
Miso Robotics builds AI powered robots that take over cooking tasks in restaurant kitchens, with a focus on quick service chains. Its main product is the Flippy Fry Station, a cloud connected system that runs the fryer. The company was incorporated in Delaware in June 2016 under the name Super Volcano and adopted the Miso Robotics name that October. In its annual report for fiscal 2025 it said it had collected $21.8 million through a Regulation A offering qualified in June 2025, alongside $4.9 million from a Regulation CF raise and $0.66 million from a Regulation D raise that both ran in early 2025. Ecolab made a $15 million strategic investment in 2023 in exchange for Series A-1 preferred shares and warrants. At the start of 2026 Miso bought assets of Zignyl, adding a restaurant operations product, and White Castle is named as a long running Flippy customer.
