Angel Robotics said on Oct 29 that its Angelsuit H10 wearable walking-assist robot has completed medical-device listing with Thailand's Food and Drug Administration, according to Korean trade outlet Tech World; the statement is not yet on the company's newsroom and the Thai registration number was not given.

The listing gives the KOSDAQ-listed company two products in Thailand covering gait rehabilitation and walking assistance, as it already has in Malaysia and Vietnam. The H10 uses seven sensors to model the wearer's body in real time, assists walking, sitting and standing, and offers a resistance-training mode.

MEKAWIRE context: by the dates on the company's newsroom, Thailand is its third Southeast Asian market after the Malaysia approval of April 30 and the Vietnam launch of Aug 5, and it comes two weeks after founder Kong Kyung-chul returned as sole CEO (DART, Oct 16).

Good or bad news for the company?
