Realbotix, the TSX Venture-listed maker of lifelike silicone-faced robots, has launched Echo, a line of four companion personas sold as a 17-degree-of-freedom tabletop robot for USD 11,950 or a 39-degree-of-freedom full-body robot for USD 59,950, each with a monthly AI subscription, the company said in a press release on Oct 26 and on its product page.

A USD 199 deposit reserves a unit; only 225 tabletop and 25 full-body robots will ship in 2027.

Realbotix, which builds humanoid robots with realistic silicone faces in Las Vegas and trades on the TSX Venture Exchange as XBOT, said in a press release on Oct 26 that it has launched a product line called Echo; prices and volumes are on the Echo product page.

Echo comes in four personas, named Aria, Mila, Dave and Amar, each with its own face, voice and personality that owners can adjust in the Realbotix app. Every persona is offered as a tabletop bust with 17 degrees of freedom for USD 11,950 or as a full-body robot with 39 degrees of freedom for USD 59,950, plus a monthly AI subscription whose price the page does not list. A USD 199 deposit reserves an order, and the company says only 225 tabletop and 25 full-body units will ship in 2027. Realbotix pitches the robots for classrooms, companionship and daily check-ins in care settings, and reception or brand-ambassador work, and says it does not record or store conversations.

MEKAWIRE context: Echo is priced for a different job than the general-purpose humanoids in our humanoid price explainer, which runs from USD 2,490 to 80,000. The full-body Echo costs about three times a home humanoid such as 1X NEO at USD 20,000 but is sold for conversation and presence rather than chores, and the 250-unit 2027 cap makes it a niche, low-volume product.

Good or bad news for the company?
