San Diego developer of BrainOS, the autonomy software behind robotic floor scrubbers and retail inventory robots.
Brain Corp builds BrainOS, an AI platform that lets commercial machines such as floor scrubbers move on their own through busy indoor public spaces. The San Diego company, founded in 2009, has extended the platform from cleaning to inventory delivery and shelf scanning for retailers, with Clean Suite and Sense Suite product lines. In July 2017 it announced a $114 million Series C led by the SoftBank Vision Fund, with Qualcomm Ventures taking part and keeping a board seat. In April 2020 it added $36 million in Series D funding, again led by SoftBank Vision Fund 1, with ClearBridge Investments, Satwik Ventures and Qualcomm Ventures also investing. The company has not disclosed a valuation for either round.
