Mytra
Bay Area startup building software-defined, three-dimensional robotic systems that move and store material in warehouses.
Mytra, Inc. was founded in 2022 by chief executive Chris Walti and Ahmad Baimalmal and builds software-defined robotic systems that move and store material in warehouses, treating moves, storage, picks and routing as programmable steps. The company came out of stealth in July 2024 with what it described as $78 million raised through its Series B, saying Greenoaks led the Series B, Eclipse led the seed and Series A, and Albertsons Companies was among its commercial partners. On 15 January 2026, writing from Brisbane, California, it announced a $120 million Series C led by Avenir Growth, joined by Kivu Ventures, Liquid 2, D. E. Shaw Ventures and Offline Ventures, existing backers Eclipse, Greenoaks, Abstract Ventures and Promus Ventures, and strategic investors Lineage and RyderVentures. Mytra said that in 2025 it signed a deployment 60 times the size of its largest earlier installation and that early sites cut material handling labour by 32% while raising storage density by 34%.
