Viabot
Santa Clara company whose autonomous Viabot One robot sweeps litter and debris from commercial car parks and outdoor property and doubles as a soft-security patrol, sold as robotics-as-a-service.
Viabot was founded by chief executive Gregg Ratanaphanyarat and chief technology officer Dawei Ding and launched publicly in 2021; it is based in Santa Clara, California. Its Viabot One platform sweeps and removes trash and debris on outdoor commercial property, chiefly for big-box retailers, and also provides what the company calls soft security. Viabot said in September 2026 that the robot serviced 25 million square feet of commercial property in California, Florida, Indiana, Missouri, Nevada, North Carolina, Texas and Virginia, that its AI had been trained on more than 5 billion square feet of real-world data across several sensor types, and that customers included Fortune 500 retailers, universities, multinational real estate owners, developers, property managers, and healthcare and utility companies. On 17 September 2026 it announced a $24 million Series A led by Walden International with CDIB Capital Group and Stalwart Ventures, plus existing investors Baseline Ventures, Era Ventures, Morado Ventures and SOSV, which it said took its total raised to $43 million. The money is meant for larger sales and engineering teams, faster product development and its robotics-as-a-service platform.
