Pudu says 8,000 of its robots run in Korea at first Seoul partner conference
Pudu Robotics said in a press release distributed by PR Newswire on Oct 23 that it held its first Korean partner conference in Seoul on Oct 22 and that more than 8,000 of its robots now operate at Korean sites, which the company says makes it the largest operator of restaurant delivery robots in the country.
The Shenzhen company, founded in 2016, put its cumulative global shipments above 130,000 units in more than 85 countries and regions, and showed Korean dealers its new GT3, GT5 and GT7 commercial lawn mowers alongside its delivery, cleaning, industrial logistics and embodied AI lines; co-founder and CTO Cong Guo attended.
Pudu promised partners joint marketing, product and pre-sales training, spare parts and after-sales support, and said it would push beyond restaurants and hotels into retail, facility management, manufacturing and industrial parks.
MEKAWIRE context: on the company's own figures, the robots running in Korea equal about 6% of all the units Pudu has shipped worldwide, and its rivals there include Bear Robotics, controlled by LG Electronics since January 2025, and fellow Chinese maker Keenon Robotics; the last Pudu financing in MEKAWIRE's database is an undisclosed round in April 2026, after Series C2 to C4 rounds between 2021 and 2023.
